Abstract

We live in an age of science and technology, and whoever possesses knowledge but does not have the ability to manage it and translate it in an effective manner in performance in ways like him, will not be able to face the challenges and risks of competition for the sake of excellence, especially with the advent of the third millennium and the dominance of the information economy or knowledge-based economy, where hoarding is no longer possible. Acquiring information and knowledge alone is worthwhile.

Therefore, the importance of talking about knowledge management and its role in developing and preparing administrative leaders is among the most important issues that most societal institutions, whether from the public or private sector, seek to address, in order to provide a significant advantage that enables them to compete and achieve excellence in a globalized information economy, and perhaps this is the challenge. At this juncture, national intellectual capital is available.

Therefore, this research paper attempts to focus primarily on reviewing the most important challenges of the knowledge-based information economy in the era of digitization, which in turn necessitates the need to pay attention to the development of national knowledge capital with the aim of improving institutional performance, while anticipating a future vision of the extent to which knowledge management programs can be applied to prepare and develop efficient and effective administrative leaders that contribute to In raising the level of institutional performance, which will naturally be reflected in the national economy.
