Abstract

A study on the National Archives and its new role in light of the information society, by application to the National Records House in Egypt. The study reviews the services that the Documents House must provide in the information society. The study began by identifying the groups that benefit from the documents houses’ services, then presents the most important problems facing the Documents House. Egyptian Documents, then discusses in detail the services of the Documentation House, which are summarized as follows: Documentation services: which are provided to documents for the purpose of preserving and maintaining them, and: Shared services between documents and beneficiaries: which are those services that the House provides to preserve documents on the one hand, and on the other hand to serve researchers and facilitate... Ways to benefit from documents.
