Abstract

A study on archival preservation in the State of Algeria. The study begins with a methodological introduction that explains its objectives, questions, and methodology. It then discusses archival preservation in Algerian law, and presents some legislation and laws related to archives. Then it deals with technical procedures in archives, in which it discusses the factors of archive destruction, temperature, humidity, and light. Building maintenance, warehouse control, document circulation.
