Abstract

This research views the most important obstacles facing the flow of electronic information with an illustration about the effect of each obstacle on the flowing of the information, and the special recommendation to overcome it.

This research also concentrates on the internet as being the most important means for transporting, exchanging and retrieving information in our present age.

 

The most important obstacles are:

1- The number of internet users and the weakness of the infrastructure in our Arab world.

2- The spam e-mails:

  a) Its percentage, the number of spam letters sent world wide, and the losses that the world suffers due to it.

  b) Lack of trust in the electronic mail, the weakness of the protection means and filtration.

  c) The ignorance of the behavior to words fighting spam, which leads to an increase of the spam email for the individual users.

3- The Bugs and vulnerabilities that exist in the operating systems that allow hackers to attack the information systems.

4-The spread of the electronic pornography on the internet, and its negative impact on the World Wide Web, the youth people, the protection methods to stop pornography on internet using filtering program or monitoring programs in schools, universities or even at home.

This research was based on one of the most recent and basic universal statistics showing the status of The Arab World and pointing out a number of obstacles that viewed previously.
