Women's activity in the field of Libraries, Archive and Information in Egypt 2007 – 2018: a survey study of unique women in the field with planning of a site design

The study seeks to monitor the activity of Egyptian women in the field of libraries, documents, and information, by focusing on their prominent activity, influential role, achievements they have achieved, and the positions they have held, and making this available through a website that facilitates access to information about women’s efforts and activity in this field.
The study will include women’s activity in the field of libraries, documents, archives and information in Egypt, from 2007 AD until 2018 AD - in continuation of a previous study that dealt with distinguished women in the library and information profession in Egypt until 2006 AD - however, the period of the current subject of the study has witnessed tremendous numerical and qualitative development, and the study will cover The efforts of female graduates of library and documentation departments in Egypt at the academic and professional levels, who are active in the field and hold academic positions and hold general governmental positions as well, or who hold general governmental positions only, or who hold positions and tasks in civil society, and this is represented in associations, unions, and cultural and intellectual institutions.
Regarding the method used, the study will rely on the survey method, and in collecting data it will rely on a checklist and a standardized personal interview.
