Towards a new vision for library management using data mining technology

Abstract

In order for any work to be able to provide what is required of it, it must be properly planned and managed. Management in its entirety (knowledge - skill - talent - perception - intelligence - experience - future vision), and libraries, like any institution, large or small in size, must be subject to a functional structure that organizes and plans. Any employee within the library is considered an administrative official within the framework of his job, specialization, and the work and service he provides. With the knowledge and experience that is generated through practice, the employee can master his work and manage it in the best way.

If we go to a larger scale at the level of department heads, department directors, and general managers; Administrative work requires a broader vision for each official in terms of individuals, organizing work among them, and distributing them to groups and services, whether traditional or non-traditional. Conscious planning - knowing my material and human capabilities - my assets - what the actual and potential beneficiaries need - and future expectations, this is the sound vision of administration. From this standpoint, it was necessary to think about the existence of modern mechanisms that help decision makers obtain new visions and expectations for the future.
