The impact of electronic publishing in promoting Arab heritage: pioneering experiences

A study on the efforts and experiences of a group of Arab institutions in the field of protecting and digitizing Arab heritage. The study begins with a theoretical introduction about heritage and its concept, the digitization of heritage and the benefits that accrue to it from the digitization process. The study then presents the efforts of four of the largest Arab institutions working in the field of digitizing heritage, namely: Al-Warraq, Bibliography of Islam, the Library of Alexandria, and the Juma Al-Majid Center.
