Electronic management of information and institutional documents: a case study of the National Electricity and Gas Company Sonelgaz, Electricity Production Branch

Information technology applications in the fields of development, education, production, and industry have become among the options and choices through which these institutions seek to achieve competitive advantage, and Sonelgaz Algeria SPE is among these institutions that have begun to introduce technological applications and opportunities for the electronic management of information within its strategy for permanent development. For efficiency, and at the level of all its productive branches.
After SPE embarked on a successful experience in managing its production branches through the “GMAO” system, it sought to support this success with the electronic management system for information and corporate documents, which provides access and exploitation of various technical documents and plans by technicians in charge of maintenance within the framework of their jobs. Through this system, SPE On the way to forming a documentary database that allows preserving its memory.
In this study, we will highlight the most important steps and stages that the SPE Electricity Production Unit followed in introducing this system, and what results it achieved in the field.
