This study seeks to highlight the importance of shared workspace management software, by working on inventorying and evaluating both of them, conceptualising a set of proposed criteria that can help in evaluating and selecting software, studying the spaces inside Egyptian university libraries because they are one of the important parts, and focusing on the software for managing these spaces as well as shedding light on the concept of shared workspaces, their origin, development and importance to society. The study relies on the survey method to identify shared workspace management software and to identify all that has been written about it, whether in Arabic or English.
