Abstract

An evaluation study of the websites of Arab professional associations specialized in libraries and information and the website of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information. The study begins with an introductory introduction to Arab professional associations, and then begins to evaluate the sites according to seven criteria: purpose, responsibility, site language, site documentation, content, interactive services, and facilities. The study covered the following sites: the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information, the Egyptian Association for Libraries and Information, the Jordanian Library Association, the Bahraini Library Association, the Yemeni Association for Libraries and Information, the Saudi Library Association.
