Abstract

A study on the plan to establish a digital library in the library of the Central Bank of Libya. It begins with a methodological introduction about the study, its objectives, approach, and questions. Then it discusses the impact of modern technologies on libraries and the advantages they add to libraries. Then the study addresses the definition of digital libraries and the requirements for their establishment. The study is also known as the library of the Central Bank of Libya. In terms of holdings and personnel, with a focus on the library’s technical equipment and devices, and finally, the study discusses the practical steps and stages of converting the library to the digital form.
