Bibliographic instruction programs in academic libraries and their role in supporting scientific research

A study on bibliographic instruction begins with an introduction about academic libraries and their role in scientific research and developing researchers. It then presents several definitions of bibliographic instruction , discusses some issues related to it, academic libraries and their role in providing bibliographic education programmes, addresses the content of bibliographic instruction programs, its forms and methods of presenting it, and presents a method for designing Bibliographic instruction programs. Finally, the study presents an applied model of bibliographic instruction programs in the library of the American University in Cairo.
