E-government as a means of development and administrative reform

Abstract

This study deals with determining the importance of the shift towards e-government in administrative reform in the country. The study begins by defining the concept of e-government, its objectives and the advantages it achieves. Then it identifies the necessary elements to activate e-government, then identifies methods and plans for the shift towards e-government, and the study sets a map for the road towards government. e-Government and its development stages. Finally, the study presents a set of important recommendations that must be taken into account in order to shift towards e-government.
