The study aims to identify the reality of the intellectual production of the periodical issued by private Jordanian universities in Jordan since the beginning of the publication of this periodical until the year 2006 through inventorying and following up on that output and analyzing it objectively, chronologically and linguistically, and analyzing the productivity of the most authoritative authors. The study concluded with: an inventory of 789 articles in both Arabic and English. Until 2006, the number of articles written in Arabic was much greater than in English. The number of male authors exceeded the number of female authors by a large percentage of 94.9% compared to 5.1% for females. Most authors wrote their articles individually, with a total of 644 articles, or 86.3%.
The study recommends encouraging interest in writing in the English language by authors and limiting the repetition of writing on the same topics, in addition to supporting efforts to prepare indexes and support their publication by the periodicals themselves.
