Visits log and inquiries of user on the World Wide Web; an analytical study

Abstract

The study deals with research and analysis of users’ inquiries made through search engines, through displaying, arranging, sorting and selecting the results, and then ending with their visits to the sites according to these inquiries. It is based on two statistical programmes, to which the study relied to a large extent, in the process of interpretation and analysis. The study was applied to one of the portals on the global Internet, which is the IslamOnline portal.
