Preserving heritage materials is a matter of utmost importance because these materials represent the memory of individuals and nations, with the cultural values and fragrance of history they contain. Indeed, it has become necessary to document these materials digitally in order to prepare a national/regional record of the cultural properties each region possesses separately to be passed down to generations. successive and maintained. Hence, recently, there has been a boom in Arab regional and national projects and experiences in the field of heritage documentation in unconventional ways, including information technology applications to present it in a new form, the digitized form. This study presents the pioneering efforts and experiences in digitizing Arab heritage.
