Abstract

This rapid growth of information sources connected to the Internet, such as databases, fact bases, and digital repositories, requires a re-evaluation of the tools and techniques used to manage information available on the Internet. Some believe that the era of thesauri is over, but thesauri is still, to this day, one of the most important tools used to manage and retrieve information on the Internet.
