The automated system in the library of the Arab International University in Syria: a case study

This study is to evaluate the Horizon System used in the Arab International University Library in Syria, where the Horizon System is considered one of the most important and most widely used automated systems in libraries and information centers. The research focused on studying the system from a scientific perspective, in addition to evaluating it according to the application of a list of the most important standards, which consisted of (194) standards, for the characteristics, sub-functions, and requirements that must be met in the integrated automated system.
