Abstract

The technology automated information systems tool and method and found the basis for the conduct of information and adding value to organizations of all kinds, and I scrambled higher education institutions to be adopted and applied in all of its activities, especially on university libraries effective tool in knowledge management level, but this usage is sometimes still unclear effect libraries mother and university performance, in front of the multiplicity of automated systems of information and different types of sources, in the presence of infrastructure and connectivity and tangles and capacity utilization and various functions of the systems, and provide the human frame efficient supervisor and based on the operation and utilization of the output, and try to have a clear vision about the effective use of information systems mechanism and Investigation on improving university libraries performance of which was the completion of this research based on the case study method, depending on the three samples are: libraries, each of Constantine universities 1, Constantine 2, Constantine 3, using a data collection tool (questionnaire in the form of interviews restricted form) for the community component of Governors of the study university libraries of colleges and departments affiliate, and was reached that there should be an independent structure to oversee the use of systems and follow-up work and modify the associated tasks for the establishment of an automated system.
