In our contemporary world, researchers communicate and exchange information sources through various Internet media, such as blogs, social networks, and digital repositories. These researchers' activities have paved the way for the creation of a new method to measure the extent of the impact of scientific research on these media, which is now called altmetrics in the literature.
Altmetrics, or alternative measurements, refer to unconventional methods that were born with the second generation of Web 2.0, to assess the extent of the influence of researchers and publications (particularly journal articles), usually through the incidents of mentioning them in some web sources and social media platforms.
