Abstract

Higher Education and Scientific Research present to every country an important investment being cover all files with scientific and technical knowledge, adding to that the international recognition of Scientifics level of production to every country is a considerable statement, according to that, we can conclude the main role of Higher Education, despite this Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria did not know the right way yet.                                                                                                                                                                              

        Based on that, the goal of this scientific article is to define the Higher Education and Scientific Research, personification some of it´s indicators in Algeria during the period (1995-2013) , determinate the role of Algerian universities and scientific research laboratories in achieving and creating  research and knowledge, and finally, personification the most important challenges , obstacles that face Higher Education in Algeria.
