Knowledge Management Strategies: an analytical study in institutions of information in Iraq

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate on the reality the practice of information institutions in Iraq ، the activities of management knowledge ، and to clarify the importance of knowledge management strategies and contemporary concept in order to help information institutions to raise the level of information services and contribute to building a society of knowledge economy and to achieve the objectives of the study were research questionnaires the design and distribution of the sample consisting of (152) Researched The study found the following results:
1- The degree of most of the activities of Knowledge Management was a medium degree exception of cognitive activity audit were high while the activities of each of knowledge possession ، knowledge dissemination and exchange of information ، knowledge development ، knowledge society ، the degree of exercise is weak.
2- There are statistically significant statistical relationship between the nature of knowledge management strategy and how much exercise Activity construction of knowledge ، and possession knowledge ، and storage of knowledge and documentation ، and auditing knowledge ، and application of knowledge ، and dissemination of knowledge and exchange ، and the development of knowledge ، and community knowledge.
The study reached the initiative to adopt the concept of knowledge management strategies through the practice of the activities that are included in this concept ،
and provide the necessary ingredients to practice those activities.
