This study addresses the challenges imposed by the electronic environment on the preparation and issuance of current national bibliographies, while evaluating the current status of the “Deposit Bulletin” as the current national bibliography of the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of these challenges and developing a proposed vision for its development, in addition to presenting the most prominent international experiences in preparing and issuing bibliographies.
