Abstract

The public library opens its doors to all people, and always works to provide library materials in order to educate the community in which it is located regardless of gender, colour, age, culture, or social aspect, it is the institution of the people, and the role of the public library in the modern era is rich and rich in its potential, whether in the city or village, the public library has taken upon itself the leading role in the culture and welfare of society, and a well-prepared library works to spread knowledge and rationalise thought, enrich it, and generally affect the future progress of society. The public library has become an indispensable element in society, as the public library can provide the community with basic information that helps the progress of industry, agriculture, economy, trade and others
