The aim of this study to identify several databases from several providers that an-Najah National University Library subscribed with for one year. To achieve the goals of the study a sample several databases types was chosen. This study, shown that the search technique in each database including the Boolean Search and the Truncation technique way deifier from database to another, several different symbols had been used. The researcher has come up with a number of recommendations, of these the research recommends the importance of holding a practical training workshop for clients to learn a bout the hows of databases utilization & the search technique in each database.
